Conrad Drzewiecki
The documentary Conrad Drzewiecki is a biographical tale about the prominent Polish dancer and choreographer who introduced contemporary dance into Polish ballet.
The film is based on an extensive interview with the Maestro.
The viewer accompanies the protagonist of the story in his art trips across Europe, Asia and Central America. The film jest richly illustrated with unique photos and fragments of ballets choreographed by Drzewiecki.
The Maestro’s remembrances are interspersed with opinions of his friends, colleagues, former students, and other famous artists. The artist, who died in 2007, had an effervescent personality, an intriguing artistic career and versatile interests.
