Sinfonia Iuventus

The film shows the origins of the Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus. It documents the early history of the ensemble and the atmosphere of the recruitment process. We can watch the musicians from the time of auditions to their becoming a full-fledged orchestra involved in performing music together.

The entire project was initiated by Maestro Jerzy Semkow. The orchestra is composed of the most talented graduates and students of music academies who have not yet attained the age of 30 years.

Sinfonia Iuventus offers young musicians a chance to cooperate with eminent artists and thus become themselves mature performers who are able to meet any challenge.
