An emotive film full of music, an account of the major events and the atmosphere of the 14th edition of the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition. This is at the same time a dynamic and moving tale about meeting and overcoming challenges. The film features young contestants from all over the world and the greatly responsible jurors. A major figure in the movie is the charismatic violin virtuoso, Maestro Maxim Vengerov, the Head of the Jury.

The competition is shown from the moment of pre-selection through to the finale gala. The viewer is offered the chance to “spy on” what happens behind the scenes, to watch the musicians on the stage and – most importantly – to listen to magnificent music...
